Creator's Notes & Tips

This is a GREAT recipe for gravy to go with fries, mashed potatoes, and any kind of meat, including meat loaf. The classic use of this gravy is over fries, typically served with fried chicken and coleslaw.

This is a perfect dipping sauce for fries and roasted or barbecued chicken.

Because there are a lot of spices, and the gravy is amazing, we make dry mix for 10 batches and store it in a jar. Then it’s a snap to prepare any time.
